Job Description:
Akima's Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) department supports corporate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and indirect cost management for Akima, LLC and its 50 subsidiaries. This position is a great opportunity for to gain considerable exposure to the overall financial structure at Akima, LLC, from cost pool set-up to end-user financial reporting deliverables.
The FP&A intern will be involved in:
* Minimum Qualifications:*
You must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19.
* Work Environment and Physical Demands:*
General office environment; no special physical demands required.

The FP&A intern will be involved in:
- Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reporting to Executive Team
- Financial Statement analysis and variance reporting
- Annual Plan Consolidation and Reporting
- Development and maintenance of various financial KPI analyses
- Management and coordination of Corporate Shared Service indirect cost spending and forecasting reports
- Exposure to the entire Akima business portfolio (across Business Groups and Shared Services)
- Interaction with all Shared Services functions and senior leadership
- Excel modeling and reporting experience and training
- Training on financial statement analysis and identifying key financial metrics
* Minimum Qualifications:*

- College student majoring in Accounting or Finance
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Must be outgoing and present a professional appearance
- Must be a US citizen
- Previous business work experience preferred
