Our objective is to help our customers manage their business in the advent of simple to use, interactive mobile technology, freeing executives to access the insights they require and allowing a more intuitive approach to analysing information.About the roleAn exciting opportunity has become available for an Accountant to manage the day-to-day processing of operational transactions, complete monthly end accounting processes and ensure accurate forecasting and timely management reporting is provided to the business.Main responsibilities and activities include: Assist with preparing financial statements and management reporting.Reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards and monthly reconciliationsDaily receipts allocation.General ledger maintenance, month end and year end closeManaging the accounts receivable and payable functionsProcess payroll and journals into GLWork with external accounting firm in preparing monthly BAS and FBT returnsParticipate in annual budgeting and cash flow forecastingPrepare policies and procedures to maintain accounting controlsServices and pricing review and analysis.To be successful in this role it is essential you have:Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.Minimum 2 year of experience in relevant roles.Experience with MYOB & XERO is advantageous but not essential.Experience in both accounts payable and receivableExperience in performing reconciliations, checks and balances.Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to consistently produce accurate and high-quality workAble to work efficiently to ensure timeliness of outputsWillingness to work within the team to deliver high standards.We thank all applicants in advance for their interest; however, only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
