Candidate profile

Essential Duties and Responsibilities for a Project Finance Analyst include the following tasks. Other duties may be assigned on a need basis.
  • Assist the team on marketing presentations for potential financing & equity partners
  • Prepare and update banks and investors contacts list, banks profiles and comparative tables of financing offers
  • Maintain database of competitive information including, energy price curves for various markets, renewables M&A transactions, etc.
  • Support data room for solar projects, assist more senior members of the team on all other project finance related tasks (due diligence, loan documentation...)
  • Financial modeling of Renewables projects (Solar, Offshore Wind or Battery/Storage) to assess the projects' economic profitability
  • Prepare internal committee presentation (financial statements, economic results for Total Solar, sensitivities) to senior management in relation to internal committees decision
  • Issuance and follow-up on bank guarantees
  • Support of the Credit analysis officer of B2B clients


Context and environment

Job Context and Scope
The Project Finance and Economics Team is responsible to (i) define the financing strategy for TotalEnergies solar and wind projects, (ii) raise the required non-recourse debt and tax equity to partly fund project development, construction and operations, (iii) evaluate and execute M&A opportunities; (iv) prepare and assess projects' economics, and (v) advise on equity strategies. The position requires a minimum of 5 months duration and working a minimum of 24 hours per week.
