Our client, a multinational energy company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their office located in Brussels. You will do the management of the general accounting and will report directly to the Head of Finance with whom you will work closely.

Senior Accountant

Main responsibilities include:

• Monthly, quarterly and yearly closings
• Registration and updates of provisions
• Coordination of reconciliations accounts payable and receivable
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Compute VAT, CIT, statistics of the NBB, etc.
• Manage BS and P&L statements
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Comply with internal policies and regulations
• Establish annual accounts
• Coordination of annual audits

Senior Accountant

The ideal candidate

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Fluent in French and English. Italian is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of BEGAAP.
• SAP and Power BI are a plus.
• Good analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to details.
