Financial Analyst

Traditional manufacturing accountant required for North Hampshire based client Your new companyAn established company who form part of a larger international group seek to appoint a commercially minded accountant eager to work in a role with plenty of business partnering and influence over decisions. The business are growing, well backed and are preparing for a future listing - hence it is an exciting time to join the organisation. Your new roleYou will work with a range of operational stakeholders providing management information which helps to drive decisions. You will product standard costing schedules, manage inventory control and conduct variance analysis on a monthly basis. Furthermore you will monitor "bill of material" costs and changes that impact costing and valuation in addition to developing revenue and cost forecasts. You will undertake duties relating to monthly, quarterly and yearly financial close, producing financial modelling as required whilst supporting any ad-hoc projects.What you'll need to succeedYou will be an accountant with an analytical mindset who enjoys getting out from your seat in order to "walk the shop floor" in order to understand what drives the business at a senior level. Exposure to inventory and/or costings would be highly desirable. You will demonstrate prior experience within a commercially facing role.
