Here at GXO, we're currently on the look-out for a Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis for our M&S contract in Stoke. We will also consider part-time hours for this opportunity. This is a fast-paced, e-commerce, distribution warehouse for our high-volume blue-chip customer. You'll be able to deal with a fast-paced customer, oversee the day-to-day management accounts, mentor the team and deal with ad-hoc customer requests.
You'll work closely with the operational teams to produce reports and commercial KPIs for the contract and engage in customer meetings. We're looking for a self-motivated Finance Manager that can help search for commercial efficiencies.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to £50,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Oversee the weekly P&L and monthly reports
- Support site-based projects teams for generation of savings increasing operational performance
- Develop and mentor the finance team in place, overseeing the management accounts
- Reforecasting and budget preparation
- Proven experience in a finance management role, ideally with exposure to an open book contract environment
- Experience in finding cost efficiencies and potential savings
- Exposure to building strong business relationships with both internal and external customers
- Fully CIMA or ACCA qualified
