Reports to : Head of Finance Control, ASEAN
Department/Function : Finance
Purpose of the Position:
• Drive financial strategy and Operating Rhythm consistently across the three countries.
• Acts as the financial consultant for the business in all commercial decisions and by monitoring financial performance against the plan. Initiate and drive mitigation actions.
• Guides the finance teams across three countries consistently on overall functional responsibilities such as accounting processes not transferred to LBSC, reporting, planning, tax and treasury practices, and corporate services.
• Manages the service level agreement between the countries and LBSC while drive process improvement initiatives.
• Drive and support major growth initiatives be it new investments, M&A, JV, etc.
• Reviews, assesses, and challenges the cluster’s actual performance, plan, and forecast.
• Provides leadership and challenge for all strategic plans, and the Productivity initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
• Advises and supports managers in all key commercial decisions.
• Provides leadership in financial planning and decision-making to ensure maximisation of shareholders' value.
• Accountable for the integrity of the financial results of the company.
• Ensures compliance with all Company’s accounting and local accounting standards.
• Ensures the existence of a robust financial controls environment and promotes ownership of financial controls within the company including process compliance and tax compliance.
• Monitors financial performance and provides financial expertise to line management in the development of corrective actions for target achievement.
• Responsible for directing, leading, and coordinating the budgeting function including organisation of budget systems and procedures for compiling, monitoring, and analysing consolidated annual plan and for monitoring performance against plan.
• Evaluates and challenges the business plan and capital expenditures, always striving for highly profitable and sustainable growth.
• Manages the Company’s tax and treasury practice within the Cluster, closely cooperating with corporate tax and treasury departments.
• Manages corporate services within the Cluster, ensuring operations are as per companies' rules and regulations.
• Ensures good corporate governance including compliance with statutory requirements.
• Actively coordinates Productivity projects and provides financial expertise in other major projects like pricing initiatives, restructuring efforts, etc.
• Builds the local interface and support for corporate M&A projects and other corporate initiatives.
2. Lead and Guide Team:
• Manages, strengthens, and further develops, together with the HR function, the finance staff to build and maintain a strong finance team.
3. Demonstrates cost responsibility, ensuring Finance teams have the tools, training, and resources to optimise performance.
4. Advocates best practice and support continuous improvement activities.
5. Performs other tasks or initiatives as directed by the line manager.

• Corporate Team on critical matters like Tax, Treasury, and Accounting.

• Statutory agencies, financial institutions, legal counsels, auditors, and external consultants.
Requirements:
• Accounting degree or recognised Finance Requirements and/or MBA or comparable business degree.
• At least 10-12 years of management experience in the following areas: Financial management, accounting, tax, treasury, internal controls, and corporate governance.
• Experience in reputed MNCs in a manufacturing set-up.
• Prior experience in SAP/Hyperion.
