Audit Senior - Flexible/Hybrid Working!
A long established and highly reputable firm are looking for a bright and able individual to join their growing team as an Audit Senior. The role offers flexible/hybrid working, and will also consider term-time working or part time. Their clients include a diverse range of corporate and individual businesses, Not-for-profit organisations (including Academies, Schools and Charities) as well as Trusts.
The Role
An opportunity to work within the Academies team has arisen due to the expansion of the department. This sector is a very important part of our business and one we invest in regularly to ensure our offering to the education sector is second to none. As well as being an integral part of the academies team and working throughout the year with our education clients the opportunity to also prepare and audit company accounts exists.
The Academies team is made up of a dynamic group of people, qualified; part qualified and qualified by experience who undertakes a variety of work within the sector. This opportunity would allow an individual to develop their skills and knowledge across a broad spectrum of work leading to internal progression. It is an exciting time to join our team if you are looking for a new opportunity.

- Preparing financial statements from clients trial balance;
- Auditing all areas of financial statements and preparing audit files for review;
- Taking responsibility for all work allocated communicating with manager and partner as necessary;
- Ability to provide on-the-job training for team members when appropriate;
- Capacity to work on numerous jobs simultaneously;
- Minimum 2-4 years auditing and accounting experience.
- ACA/ACCA/AAT qualification (preferable but not essential).
- Knowledge of CCH or other accounts production packages
- Experience of using sage; Quickbooks and other accounting packages;
- Salary review annually in July
- Paid overtime or time off in lieu
- Flexible/hybrid working, and term-time/part-time considered
- 25 days annual leave (pro-rata), with an additional day after every 4 years' service, up to 5 additional days, as well as Christmas Eve.
