Finance Manager Automotive (Puchong)

Our client is looking for a suitable individual who has passion in finance that can bring solid experience from audit and commercial to join them as Finance Manager. You will be managing daily finance operations and supervise the finance department staff

Our client is a fast growing company that has diverse business in multiple industry. Started their business in automotive, they have expanded their business in other industries such as beauty, technology, and plantation not only in Malaysia but other asia countries as well thus leading to team expansion. They are looking for strong Finance Manager to be added into the organisation to manage their day to day finance and accounting operation.

Description

• Oversee the daily operations of Finance function.
• Coordinate, review and ensure accurate and timely reporting of periodic financial and management reports of the organisation (Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam and China)
• Liaison with external parties (i.e: external auditors, company secretary and tax agent etc) and to ensure accounts are prepared in accordance to the requirements of Companies Act and Financial Reporting Standards.
• Conduct reviews and evaluation for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Partners with other business unit head and stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Supervision of finance department staff.
• To implement a review of existing processes and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department and initiate correction actions.
• Assist and support the Head of Finance with special projects and workflow process improvements.
• Provide additional analysis and reports as requested by management.
• Any additional ad-hoc task whenever required.

Profile

• Bachelor's Degree of Finance / Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Audit experience is a must.
• Strong team player with the sense of urgency and commitment in meeting deadlines.
• Mature, hardworking and able to work in fast-paced environment.
• Able to commit work efficiently and meet deadlines.
