Summer Risk Assurance and Advisory Services (RAAS) Intern Position (Internal Audit)
Position as a RAAS Intern of a Fortune 800 company with a variety of exciting internal audit opportunities in Corporate, Field, IT and SOX Compliance. Excellent opportunity for the candidate to explore his/her interest in the internal audit profession and to prepare for a career in internal audit.
The RAAS Intern provides support for the RAAS Department while receiving relevant, on the job training. At the completion of the Internship, the Intern will have gained an understanding of the operations of a Corporate Internal Audit Department.

The RAAS Intern provides support for the RAAS Department while receiving relevant, on the job training. At the completion of the Internship, the Intern will have gained an understanding of the operations of a Corporate Internal Audit Department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform various types SOX testing
- Assist with various SOX compliance projects
- Assist with corporate audits, advisory projects and research
- Assist with various field reviews and projects
- Assist with various IT reviews and projects
- Prepare SOX testing workpaper binders
- Interact with all levels of the RAAS department from Staff to Managing Director
Requirements:
- Junior/senior/graduate student pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or similar discipline major at an accredited college or university
- 12 hours of accounting (auditing, internal auditing, information systems) related course with minimum 3.0 GPA. Had exposure to auditing/internal auditing either having taken courses as part of the curriculum or has had previous work experience in an auditing/internal auditing environment
- Must be able to work 40 hours in a normal business week (Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm)
- Knowledge of Excel
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Highly detail-oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
