What will the apprentice be doing?
Involvement with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assisting with salary and expense payments
Learning to process invoices, journals and customer payments
Building up to understand and prepare tax returns, cashbooks and management accounts.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will attend college one day per week for 12-14 months. The remainder of the time you will complete work based learning aligned with your studies.
On successful completion of your apprenticeship you will receive the AA Foundation Certificate in Accounting.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
You will be offered the opportunity to continue your professional development through to level 3 (Advanced Diploma in Accounting) and level 4 (Professional Diploma in Accounting) and further.
