Your field of responsibility

An exciting opportunity to join the Capital Markets & Advisory Team that covers one of the largest, most accomplished Franchises in the industry. It offers an opportunity to play a significant role in the reporting of financial metrics and execution of critical initiatives / projects for the CM&A businesses across equity capital markets, debt capital markets, M&A, and Leveraged Finance. Opportunities to work with senior partners both across the business and at the COO /CFO level.

Key area of focus:

  • Support Senior Management by implementing and producing valuable financial management reports including:
  • Working with COOs and bankers to maintain the quarterly revenue forecast and the supporting deal pipeline
  • Preparing standard and ad-hoc financial inputs for management forums
  • Providing commentary and business intelligence on the variances between forecast and actual revenue and expenses
  • Build, implement and run the financial forecast & planning process in collaboration with departmental teams and with a wide range of senior partners. Includes:
  • Creating and maintaining full year forecast and 5-year Financial Plan for APAC IBCM business PTI at the required granularity
  • Providing additional transparency for Forecast and Plan for country, industry and product revenue and expenses
  • Working with the Global IBCM CFO team on expenses across the 4 regions, including reviewing cost-saving opportunities
  • Support the budgeting, forecasting and analysis of IBCM RWA and Leverage Exposure.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for:

  • 4-8 years of prior proven experience in financial services or large MNC, preferably within a major Investment Bank or financial institution
  • Outstanding numerical / accountancy literacy, background in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred
  • Hardworking, result oriented with ability to learn and work in a fast paced environment
  • Organized, detail oriented and good time management
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that enable them to build positive relationships with clients and to partner with teams across various locations
  • Expert PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives.
