KPMG in the UK is part of a global network of member firms that offers Audit, Tax, Legal, Consulting, Deal Advisory, and Technology services. Powered by the talent of more than 16,000 people, we bring creativity, insight and experience to solve our clients' and communities' biggest problems.

What is Tax?
The scale and breadth of what we do is so wide-reaching - and this is what makes a tax career at KPMG both challenging and rewarding. Our tax specialists work alongside clients to help them understand the intricacies of tax across the globe. They support them in complying with relevant regulations so they can operate responsibly, sustainably and ethically. Our tax services span company-focused areas, such as Corporate and Indirect Tax, as well as people-focused services, including Private Client Advice, Employment Taxes and Global Mobility Services.

KPMG Tax Vacation Programme
Our four week Tax Vacation programme gives you the opportunity to gain insights into how we help our clients manage tax issues. You could be learning about international tax, transfer pricing, VAT and deal advisory tax. You'll explore the intricacies of managing tax issues for a global workforce and develop your knowledge of how to advise high net worth individuals and entrepreneurial families on managing their tax affairs.
You'll take part in some great community activities and have the opportunity to meet new people. Above all, you'll gain experience on real-time, real-life projects, and if successful, potentially secure a graduate offer.

Training and benefits
This programme offers the perfect opportunity to find out what it's like to work for a leading professional services firm whilst gaining valuable practical experience and kick-starting your career. You'll learn about the world of work, enhance your CV and start building those all-important professional networks.

Your qualifications
You'll need to be in your penultimate year at university and have, or be on course to achieve, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline. We will however look at more than just your academic results and will also consider your strengths, values and motivations. See our 'How to Apply' sections on our Careers Portal for further guidance.
