Senior Accountant

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/x) to join a company based in the centre of Brussels. Our client is active in the IT sector. You will join an international Finance Team of 7 persons. The scope of responsibilities for this job as Senior Accountant includes: In charge of full accounting & administrative activities ; Responsible for the month and annual closing ; Responsible for the external audit of all entities ; Supervising payments and assisting with treasury management ; Supervising and controlling accounts payable ; Following up on VAT declaration and income taxes ; Managing a team of 2 persons ; Managing external accounting firms (VAT, annual reports, income tax, ...). The requested qualifications for this job as Senior Accountant include: You are in possession of a Bachelor degree in Accounting ; You are fluent in English with a good knowledge of French or Dutch ; You have at least 8 years of experience in a similar position ; You have a good knowledge of the fiscal regulations ; You are able to work proactively and autonomously.
