Here at GXO Logistics, we've recently teamed up with the electrical retail giants - Curry's, as their 3PL partner.
We're looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team, where you'll focus on building long-lasting and effective business relationships and play a key part in the growth and development of the finance function.
This is a permanent, full time role where you'll be predominately working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, however occasionally we may need some flexibility... this is Logistics after all.
Pay, benefits and more:
We're looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you'll do on a typical day:
- Produce both financial and operational management reporting, on a weekly and monthly basis, for the transport operation, the business and customer.
- Implement, review and continuously improve processes to meet operational and financial requirements
- Assist with preparation of forecasts, budgets, and any supporting data requirements
- Support a culture of innovation and problem solving, whilst building relationships with the operational leadership team
- CIMA / ACCA studier or AAT qualified
- Proven experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role, ideally in a logistics or service environment
- Able to take ownership of processes, be structured, tenacious and driven to succeed.
- Confident communicator with a flexible approach to work
