The Role
Once in role the successful candidate will work closely with the executive team and will be responsible for leading the business in its delivery / roll out of its long term compliance strategy and plans.
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Delivering the organisations strategic approach to regulatory risk and the wider compliance plan
  • Be the subject matter expert on all matters relating to FCA regulations and lead the business to make clear and decisive decisions while taking into account all conduct and regulatory risk
  • Manage all organisational compliance policies and procedures and provide training to the wider business where appropriate
  • Business partner with stakeholders across the business and educate on all compliance related matters
  • Develop and implement compliance and controls frameworks across the organisation
  • Deliver executive level compliance management information
  • Take a lead on any compliance change processes and any additional compliance and risk based projects
The Candidate
Candidates wishing to apply for this role will be able to demonstrate their senior level compliance and risk background ideally within a financial services business. The candidate will be highly articulate and be well versed in delivering strategic and risk based compliance objectives and plans. Further to this they will demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to implement improved compliance controls and systems. Having knowledge of financial services compliance risk and control mechanisms is also critical for the role.
A hybrid working policy of 1 day per week in the office can be offered for this role.
