My client has seen exceptional growth over the last 18 months and are currently looking to increase their headcount within the Finance department and are looking to recruit its Senior Finance Manager who will be responsible for the entire Finance Function of a £15m turnover business unit. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will be a key member of my clients Senior Management Team where they put customers at the heart of what they do and who they are.
You will play a key role in the wider Group finance transformation project and manager the Company's finance function as well as act as the Finance Business Partner to the divisional Director. This will suit a person who wants to join a high performing culture who puts the customer first and wants to have an enjoyable experience. You will be personable and professional, have and promote a can-do attitude as well as having a positive and engaging outlook.
The base for this role would be Tilbury, with occasional visits to other offices up to 4 times per year. This role will be predominately office based but will be flexible around core working hours and the occasional working from home day
Key responsibilities will include:
• Management of the day-to-day operation of the accounts department ensuring the efficient and accurate running of the Sage 50 Accounts system• Management of the Company's month end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations• Partner with several stakeholders to ensure production of monthly management accounts, P&Ls, balance sheets and cash flow statements• Management of the Company's sales and purchase ledger functions with a diligence towards cash collection• Manage a team of 8 including 3 senior team members (1 qualified)• Lead their area of the business on all regulatory reporting and liaise directly with auditors• Deliver budgets and forecasts to analyse cost information• Management of all FP&A• Management of the Company's FX strategy• Management of all VAT/PAYE and Corp Tax related matters• Management of the Company's legal and compliance matters• Business partner to the Senior Management Team for all finance related matters• Partner the CFO to deliver finance transformation initiatives

You should be able to demonstrate the following:
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified• At least 5 + years previous management experience• 3 + years' experience of Sage Line 50• Advanced Excel skills• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Highly organised, motivated and adapts easily to change• Have a commercial mind-set to support the board strategically• Personable, able to communicate clearly, fluently and concisely both written and verbally• A can-do enthusiastic attitude and proactive by nature• Excellent organisation skills with the ability to keep multiple projects moving forwards• Professional presentation• Able to work at pace with accuracy• Someone who can work independently and as part of a team
