Tax Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established Andover based client with a great culture and working environment. They have a brand new exciting, opportunity in the Finance Team for an individual keen to pursue a career in Tax. The Tax Accountant will take responsibility for Corporation Tax compliance, VAT and PAYE compliance and ensure transfer pricing policies meet International requirements.
Ideally CTA part qualified with an accounting background; the broad scope of this role will enable the successful candidate to develop both personally and professionally, becoming involved in all aspects of the business.
What will the role involve?

• Please provide an overview of the role and responsibilities in bullet point form;
• Support the Group Corporate Tax Manager to prepare corporation tax computations;
• Prepare estimates for quarterly corporation tax payments;
• Identify qualifying R&D for tax credit claims and identify patented product sales;
• Prepare VAT returns and proactively monitor VAT compliance;
• Manage the Group's transfer price policies;
• Support HMRC enquiries and provide training, communication and explanations on new tax related legislation.

Suitable Candidate:

• CTA part qualified with excellent organisational and communication skills;
• Experience of dealing with multi-entity transactions;
• Advanced Excel and data reporting experience.
