Finance Manager - FMCG

Sewell Wallis are working with a well known FMCG business in Leeds who are looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their Head Office team.Due to continuous growth this is a newly created role where you will be responsible for overseeing the management of all Financial Accounting processes.Working closely with the Financial Controller, other areas of responsibility will include:-Overseeing the work of the Transactional Finance Managers (Credit Control and Accounts Payable)Managing payroll reconciliations and postingsDaily cashflow management and forecastingDriving and improving new proceduresLiaising with the auditors, providing all required informationEnsuring robust control over all areas of the balance sheetReviewing the VAT returnsImplementing a financial control manualProviding information for tax processesAd hoc project work to support the wider finance teamManaging 2 direct reports and 8 indirectRequirementsFully qualified Accountant, ideally ACA/ACCA/CIMATeam management experienceExcellent reporting and analysis skillsAbility to interact and influence key stakeholdersExperience within FMCG/Food industry would be beneficialThis role will be office based.For further details, please contact Emma Dugdale or Lucy Regan.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
