Location: Home working Salary: Up to £30,600 per annum plus car allowance Contract: PermanentHours: 37.5 hours
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our vibrant, rapidly evolving business as a Territory Accountant, where you will direct and control the financial performance of the sites within your allocated territory and contribute positively to the profitable running of the area.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing various accounts on a monthly basis, to prescribed deadlines, and final accounts annually.
• Working with the Senior Management Team to prepare budgets, monthly forecasts and monitor the achievements against plan.
• Monitoring and controlling the financial balances of the sites within the Territory.
• Preparation of financial reports to assist General Manager, Senior Management Accountant and Regional Manager.
• Managing the accounting function at the sites within your Territory seeking advice as required from the Senior Management Accountant and ensuring that all systems have adequate security protection.
• Collating and reconciling payroll data from General Managers and submitting payroll input files to Payroll Department.
• Where applicable monitor the performance of the clerical/administrative functions on a regular basis and implement any required training where problems exist.
• Ensuring that all corporate finance standards and policies are fairly and consistently applied and to escalate to Regional Manager and Senior Management Accountant when non-conformance is identified.

About you

• You will likely be AAT qualified or ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or have strong relevant experience.
• You're able to produce accounts to TB stage and then production of monthly management accounts.
• You can perform the following: accruals, prepayments, control, and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• You're able to analyse and interpret accounts figures and balances and can supply constructive reasons for why variances occur.
• You must be able to work autonomously and manage your own workload to ensure deadlines are met.
