About the organisation:
Join one of Australia's leading insurers within their Technology and Operations (T&O) division team.

About the role:
This industry-leader is looking for an up-and-coming Business Analyst to join their tech resilience team. With aims to test and improve the disaster recovery systems, this program of work will include Project Management support and regular disaster recovery tests.

Key responsibilities:
  • Contribute to a strong risk culture, ensuring alignment with the "Manage our risks" pillar of the company's strategy
  • Support a technology resilience team to ensure that best in class, effective technology resilience management practices are implemented and sustained
  • Support disaster recovery test events for technology components hosted in Australia, New Zealand and the Cloud
  • Support technology resilience by providing effective, insightful, timely and accurate reporting and governance
  • You will also have the opportunity to develop your capabilities and skills so that they can be utilised more broadly within Technology


Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technology related discipline, ideally within the financial services industry
  • High-level understanding of one or more different technology disciplines such as network, database, security, storage, application development, etc.
  • Ideally possess understanding of project management and agile working
  • Works well within a team and able to operate independently
  • Adaptable and able to learn new skills quickly and efficiently
  • High level of personal drive and enthusiasm
  • Continuous improvement mindset


* Please also note occasional overnight weekend work is needed to assist with the role requirements.
