Our Global Finance Team provides support for the business for technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.
Partner with the bestResponsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Expertise within a field comprising of different approaches, methodologies, techniques and processes.
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:- Overseeing, managing and supervising team leads in ensuring all financial close and reporting activities including account reconciliations are completed timely and in accordance with guidelines set.
- Being the technical expert in Revenue and AR processes including US GAAP assessment of critical contracts and complex revenue recognition scenarios, particularly involving Project Accounting / Overtime revenue recognition stream.
- Understanding and interpreting applicable Enterprise Standards, SOP and Process Maps to deliver globally competitive financial process/accounting services.
- Providing advice and guidance to functional management/senior controllership or business functions on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area.
- Being responsible for the recruitment, development and training of new hires and provide coaching and supervision to the team.
- Assisting the Global Revenue Lead in driving necessary changes to achieve the GFOs short, mid and longer-term strategies.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have minimum of 10+ years experience in public or industry accounting operations with 3+ years manager or project management experience.
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, with professional certification (CPA, ACCA etc)
- Have an advanced knowledge of GAAP. (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Have good interpersonal and leadership skills.
