Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

As a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play an important role and will be a key member of the Global Functions Finance Unit. In this role you will coordinate month-end and planning cycles and controlling activities for all Global Functions.

The Poznan Finance Hub is a part of GSK global operating model, responsible for serving the European region in terms of Planning & Reporting and Close & Control activities, as well as more complex accounting activities. Similar two units, responsible for serving Americas, as well as for Asia and Australia, are located in Costa Rica and Malaysia respectively. Our regional finance hubs work together as one finance team to share best practice and knowledge, working closely with other markets and colleagues from our global headquarters in London.

In this role you will…

  • Develop, maintain and improve the planning process for Global Function Finance (GFF)
  • Prepare and issue instructions for all planning exercises and ensure that the GFF team is well briefed on every process
  • Support month end cycles, delivering commentaries and management reporting covering income statement, balance sheet and cash flow as applicable
  • Contribute to the preparation of the monthly GLT commentary and review pack during planning cycles
  • Work with the Finance teams to aid preparation of and consolidate global budgets, plans and forecasts for the Functions and control to targets/plan and ensure identification of risks and opportunities for review with senior management
  • Preparation of decks for issue to Corporate Finance and circulate the annual planning calendar
  • Manage all aspects of CAPEX planning and reporting of consolidated actual results
  • Provide leadership for GFF over GSK’s consolidation system (SAP BI)

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

  • University degree e.g. Financials, Business, Economy or related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in finance (controlling, planning & forecasting, management accounting)
  • SAP experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English 
  • Ability to influence at all levels and to build strong relationships in a matrix environment to bridge communications gap between finance and non-finance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Very high analytical skills
  • Advanced Excel expertise
