Safely delivering next-generation infrastructure that better connects people and transforms communities is at the heart of what we do.Your opportunityCPB Contractors, as part of a joint venture with United Group, has been selected to deliver the surface civil and alignment works for the Sydney Metro - Western Sydney Airport rail link between Orchard Hills and the new Western Sydney Airport Station.This $600M project encompass the civil infrastructure necessary for the construction of the track which includes:3.4 kms of elevated viaduct at Orchard Hills and Luddenham6.7kms of earthworks for track formationA 190M long rail bridge over the new M12 motorwayA 20m long bridge within the AirportTemporary and permanent roadsBulk Earthworks for the stabling and maintenance facility site.The SCAW project will provide the platform for future track, new stations and various temporary and permanent roads that will connect Western Sydney Airport to the surrounding suburbs and ultimately to the entire NSW rail network. Works are scheduled to commence in the second half of 2022 and be completed in 2024.Your responsibilities in the role will include:Management of safety assurance for the projectManagement of the verification and validation of technical requirementsManagement of AEO, system integration, management system and audit requirements for ProjectEnsure an accurate, timely and responsive Engineering service is providedEnsure the project complies with regulatory and governance requirements by keeping abreast of governance and regulatory obligations, taking appropriate actions and supporting the implementation of preventive strategies.To be successful in this role, you will require:Tertiary qualification in EngineeringExtensive experience in a similar role managing Systems Assurance, Systems Engineering, Rail Design, Risk Management, Rail Safety Accreditation etc.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalA strong client focus and excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to negotiate and influenceStrong planning & organising ability and a penchant for problem solvingAnalytical and strategic thinking with demonstrated commercial focus and business acumenIf you are interested in this role and meet the above requirements, please apply through the CPB Contractors website.
