We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Finance Manager for a busy distribution company based in Huddersfield (HD1).
This is a permanent role, and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, expanding company. The company is based in a modern, open planned office environment, based close to Huddersfield Town Centre.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Standard Finance Assistant (accountant) duties
- Dealing with accruals, prepayments, month end files
- Overseeing 2 staff who run the sales & purchase ledgers
- Reporting to the Finance Manager
- This is a hands on job with scope to progress within the business
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn more important than loads of experience
- However, previous experience already being an Assistant Finance Manager (accountant) would be a significant advantage
- Previous experience in the motor trade industry would be a bonus but is not essential
Hours:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, (phone number removed)pm
