Assistant Management Accountant 6 Months FTC

Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join one of our clients, a successful business based near Ilkley, who require someone to join them due to growth.They are looking for someone who has strong, all-round finance experience who has gained exposure to the month end process to allow them to hit the ground running.The successful candidate will be responsible for:--Supporting in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.-Producing accruals, prepayments and journals.-Assisting with cashflow forecasting.-Managing cash allocation.-Preparing and balancing of weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.-Producing and distributing daily banking figures.-Reconciling bank statements and identifying and logging fixed assets.-Amending invoices and creating credit notes.-Assisting with nominal ledger including processing journals and month-end adjustments.-Performing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT returns.-Assisting with more transactional processing duties as and when required.You will:--Ideally be studying towards CIMA/ACCA.-Have strong banking skills.-Be competent with the use of Excel; have the ability to do pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.For further details please contact Chloe Wilford.To apply please send your CV, quoting our reference and specifying which website you saw this position advertised on.
