The Client

Our client are a rapidly growing ASX listed retail company, with almost 200 stores across Australia and New Zealand and a large online presence.

They are significantly investing in their technology and ecommerce space, and are looking for great tech people to join them and assist in improving their customer experience while modernising their core platforms.

The Role

The Digital Business Analyst will support the execution of key customer initiatives that provide a seamless and easy omnichannel customer experience.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Plan and estimate the business analysis activities and deliverables required within a given project or initiative
  • Clearly define and document the business needs and contribute to building the business case
  • Carry out stakeholder analysis, working with the business / product owners to define stakeholder maps + contribute to the communication and engagement plans
  • Identify and define the business requirements using multiple techniques including engaging workshops, observation, interviews and creation of workflow models
  • Manage the risks and issues associated with business requirements definition and the broader business analysis activities, ensuring that the overall solution remains fit for purpose
  • Manage + track requirements as they move from discovery through to implementation. Identify when new requirements change the scope of the overall solution + ensure the appropriate change control processes are followed, incl. accurate impact assessment

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with the following:
  • Experience as a business analysts with knowledge and experience working with digital retailing and commerce solutions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Consistently develops and maintains strong long-term relationships with stakeholders
  • Must be able to understand business change needs, assess the impact of those changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, stakeholders and timelines
  • Strong appreciation for user experience and demonstrates clear customer focus

Salary and Benefits
  • Open to paying a total package of $143k for the right candidate - may be slightly negotiable for an extremely Senior candidate
