About the role:

The EL2 Chapter Lead Business Analyst is accountable to undertake work with a high level of complexity that has strategic, political, and operational significance. You will be responsible for influencing and developing strategies, policies, priorities, and operational practices. Additionally, you will be required to coordinate and assist in contributing to highly complex, sensitive projects or work programs aimed at achieving the agency's mission.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the Business Analysts (BAs) in creating and facilitating process design improvements by conducting business and systems process analysis
  • Direct program and stream level analysis and producing required analysis documentation
  • Collaborate enablement with other functional Directors, providing expertise across the Program
  • Develop and maintain consistent Business Analysis practices, including elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria and process mapping
  • Support in the professional development of peers within Chapter through mentoring and regular technical enablement sessions to support Business Analysts creation
  • Reduce rework, investing in the Agency and creating Chapter resources
  • Collaborate and offer insights across multiple Chapters, ensuring concerns are raised, cascaded and communicated


MANDATORY
  • Extensive experience working in a similar role under Australian rules and regulations.
  • Experience in coordinating and assisting in the management of complex cases.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, and proficiency in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Current Police Check, o ability to obtain one.
