How will I help?Reporting to the Audit Head of Technology, Data and Projects you will lead a team responsible for planning and delivering the information systems and change audit coverage within audits of business and support functions. You will also be a member of Group Audit Leadership team that determines and executes Group Audit's strategic priorities.You will work closely with directors of other portfolios to ensure information systems and change risks are appropriately covered. You will also drive the use of data analytics within Audit and the business to achieve superior outcomes.You will work closely with and engage other specialist Technology/ Project/ Data Risk Analytics teams when needed to deliver superior outcomes. Major accountabilities:As the Audit Director for Information Systems and Change, you are also responsible for the following:• Acting in accordance with the Westpac Group's Code of Conduct and Values.• Developing and maintaining the periodic audit risk assessment for your domain and executing the audit plan. • Developing strong stakeholder relationships whilst maintaining independence.• Ensuring appropriate remediation testing is performed once Management address audit issues.• Reporting on progress and findings to Management and for inclusion in Group Audit reporting to the Board and its Committees.• Support or respond to enquiries from APRA and other key regulators and/or the Westpac Group's external auditor.• Execute Audit's Vision and Strategic Priorities.• As a People Leader, provide frequent feedback, coaching and professional guidance, delivering ongoing performance feedback within the Westpac Group Motivate framework, and providing individual career development advice and opportunities.• Maintain a team operating in a high-performance culture that is well prepared for the future requirements of the roles.What's in it for me?You'll play an important and significant part in the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years. You'll also be backed by a collegiate team of people in a can-do, supportive structure.What do I need?We are looking for someone who ideally has the following knowledge and experience:• Undergraduate degree and Graduate degree (MBA, Technology, Finance or related field) and Chartered Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor preferred. • At least 15 years of experience in internal audit or Big 4 accounting practice with relevant experience in financial services and IT Audit. • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and skills in Business/ Technology process analysis and re-engineering are desirable.• Experience in a wide variety of business products and services and associated technology systems is desirable, International assignments would be beneficial.• Strong communication and stakeholder management and influencing skills suitable for dealing with senior executives.• Proven people leadership capability obtained through broad experience leading teams in a professional environment and executing an audit plan for a large firm.
