Quickcall M&E is looking for an experienced part time bookkeeper (2 days a week) for a busy property maintenance office in South Woodham Ferrers.
We are looking for a flexible person used to working for small family run companies and compiling accounts to trial balance for the chartered accountants. This is an excellent opportunity to make use of spare time from your schedule and earn good money.

Candidates with previous experience or job titles including; Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper, Accountant, Finance Officer, Bookkeeping, Accounts Assistant, Finance Officer, Accounts, Finance Manager, Accounts Administrator and Finance Admin may also be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full responsibility for the processing and managing of creditors and debtors
- Management of aged debt
- Credit control and daily banking entering invoices on Sage, Vat returns, CIS monthly statements, bank reconciliations, online supplier payments and various journal entries
- Compiling customer invoices on system
- Must have full current knowledge for the above requirements
- Working knowledge and full process to carry out payroll
- Experience of Sage 50 Accounts Plus
- Knowledge of Construction Industry CIS scheme
- You'll have high standards
- You'll be open to new ideas and developing the range of your accounting skills as the company grows
- You'll have worked at the same or a similar level, although if you're truly ambitious to succeed you could be looking for the next move up in your career
- Disciplined, organised and systematic
- A superb team player and obviously good with numbers
