Elevation Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working in partnership with a very successful business based in Worksop as they look to recruit a Part Qualified or QBE Financial Accountant on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, to cover a period of maternity leave. This business are always looking for professionals to join their business and therefore is huge potential for extension or permanency.

Main Purpose Of Role:
* To provide Monthly Accounts for Head office companies
Key Accountabilities:
* Reporting the monthly results for holding companies
* Producing monthly management accounts
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Accounting system to group reporting system monthly reconciliations
* Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts with other group companies
* Chasing intercompany debts
* Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and tax packs
* Completion of national statistics returns
* Preparation of budgets and forecasts for holding companies
* Completing audit confirmations and answering audit queries
* Ensure timely invoicing for intercompany recharges
* Posting journals to the general ledger
* Bank Account reconciliations
Skills & Experience Required:
* Part qualified Accountant studying towards ACCA/CIMA or Qualified Accountant
* Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
* Comprehensive understanding of accounting systems and interactions of ledgers is required
* Confident communicator both verbally and written
* A flexible/adaptable approach to work
* Flexibility to match working hours to department demand
