Location: Tisbury (potential to do 2 days WFH)

Now at an exciting stage in their growth, they are looking for a unique individual to join them on their journey as Accountant or Experienced Bookkeeper.
Working at their beautiful location in Tisbury which includes a unique 13th century Monastic Barn which is stunningly beautiful, a modern gallery and restaurant space with lovely outdoors seating, this really is a great role for anyone with any interest in the creative/arts sector. Messums Wiltshire really has become a great and unique destination for anyone with an interest in the arts.
They have 3 income streams which include: -
* Art sales, retail and margin scheme
* Restaurant/Shop
* Events
The accountant would be the sole accounts function within this multi million turnover business, with multiple trading sites, reporting directly to the MD but also working closely with their outsourced finance consultancy business for a handover period. You will help them with their ambitious growth plans and if these are achieved there is the potential opportunity in the future to build your own team around you.
Job Description
The successful candidate will have:-
* Solid bookkeeping experience
* Ideally be AAT or qualified by experience
* Be able to produce timely management accounts which provide meaningful information to aid business growth decisions
* Basic cashflow and budgeting experience
* Can deal with multiple income streams
* Experience of completing VAT returns
* Ideally experienced running a small payroll
With a relaxed, friendly culture, they are looking for an experienced Accountant who can join their team, grasp the role as it is now and really make it their own.
You will be able to provide clarity in the numbers, be efficient and have a great personality with the ability to communicate to different audiences.
