My client is a global FTSE 100 business located in South West London. They are currently seeking a skilled Interim Finance Analyst to join their team for circa 3 months.

Description

The interim Finance Analyst will be responsible for:

• Support the Planning & Performance Manager in all Finance related activities for the Functional Leadership & their teams, including:
• Leading the input and sign off of Plan, Forecast, Actual and Variance information within their portfolio
• Managing the quarterly due diligence processes for their portfolio, flagging potential issues in a timely manner
• Producing high quality MI reporting that supports performance management
• Setting up and maintaining Delegations of Authority for their portfolio
• Performing E-Expense due diligence reporting
• Provide a point of consolidation of financial data for the finance team in support of their portfolio and MI reporting and variances
• Discuss potentially complex or non-routine transactions with the Finance Manager to ensure compliance with all accounting policies and practices
• Develop effective partnerships with different stakeholder groups including Global Business Services (offshore accounting centre), Functional Performance Management Staff and particularly key budgets holders to ensure that maximum value is obtained from the cost management process.
• Actively look for opportunities to improve Finance processes
• Help identify cost efficiency opportunities consistent with the functional vision and strategy
• Support the portfolio Finance Lead in effective definition and execution of cost allocation
• Support implementation of P2P compliance

Profile

The interim Finance analyst

• Business Partnering & Control experience an advantage
• Experience working with the financial reporting processes and systems useful but not required
