DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our Krakow office to make the team even stronger.
We are supporting Employment Contract or B2B, depending on your preferences.

Join the team that maintains and extends a mission critical, high availability and low latency platform for handling orders and trade processing of wide spectrum of investment products (stock, derivatives, bonds, funds, forex, precious metals, structured products, etc.) on multiple exchanges.
Responsibilities
  • Determine required IT business solutions and assist in implementing them
  • Conduct requirements gathering activities using a variety of internal and external data and conducting stakeholder interviews
  • Design pragmatic software solutions to address business problems, while considering the strategic future state model
  • Build functional solutions with supporting data analysis
  • Act as the primary contact between the business users and technology team before, during and after the project implementations
  • Assist in quality control and project management
Requirements
  • Solid experience working on design and development of enterprise software in a distributed environment within the financial services industry
  • Experience in Interpreting business needs of users and translating them into the application requirement with the help of strong analytical and product skills (you know what they really want)
  • Experience participating in Integration, functional and user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and thorough requirements and functional design documentation to a professional standard
  • Strong verbal communication skills with an ability to tailor style to the audience
  • Able to demonstrate facilitative approach to issue resolution and show willingness to cross role boundaries to achieve desired outcomes
  • Ability to read Java code
  • Ability to read XML and JSON format
  • Ability to query Database using SQL language
  • Ability to investigate application log files
  • Basic UNIX/Linux user experience
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Responsible, self-motivated team player
  • Quick learner, able to develop subject matter skills
  • Advanced level of English
