Our client is a well established construction business and they are now looking to recruit a Company Accountant / Accounts Bookkeeper to oversee all day to day accounting for the business.
▪ Full accountability for all finance and accounting processes on XERO
▪ Total control of the business bank account for all payment transactions and supplier payments
▪ HMRC online PAYE, CIS, furlough, pension, VAT Returns, timesheet management and allocation to job costing, cashflow daily management & ledgers
▪ Day to day responsibility for the administration and processes in the office
▪ PA to Managing Director and Senior Project Manager
▪ HR duties including employee contracts of employment
▪ Holiday administration, sick leave and Health and Safety compliance
▪ Preparing estimates and quotations, for prospective clients,
▪ Site file management for contracted projects
▪ Vehicle management - MOT, licensing, servicing for the company vehicles owned and lease, fuel card and vehicle monitoring.
▪ Ensuring company insurances are kept up to date
▪ Managing annual industry subscriptions - CITB
▪ Managing training courses for the staff
▪ Ensuring subcontractors insurances, and risk assessments are kept up to date
▪ Supplier agreement management and credit applications
