About Our Client
DUSK began 5 years ago, founded by a CEO with an extensive track record of building hugely successful e-commerce businesses after he spotted a gap in the market for a high quality online home retailer.
Since then, the business are consistently featured in the likes of GQ, Elle Decoration, Sunday Times and GoodHomes Magazine, have a strong social media presence and have grown to c£20m with ambition to scale revenue to £100m over the next 3 years.
A need has arisen for an interim Finance Manager to join the business for a period of maternity cover, reporting into the Trading Director and managing a small team.
Job Description
Responsibilities will include:
* Main point of contact for all invoices/ financial queries for the business, ensuring invoices are approved by the relevant stakeholder and processed correctly
* Overseeing the weekly bank, refunds and cash reconciliations by the Accounts Assistant
* Managing cash-flows for the business, performing a 12 week cash-flow on a weekly basis and flagging any issues/ concerns with the CEO
* Take full responsibility for the month end management accounts - posting all accruals, prepayments and performing all necessary work
* Communicate with stakeholders about the management accounts, issues identified and ways to improve performance going forwards
* Complete the quarterly VAT return
* Be the main point of contact for the year end audit
The Successful Applicant
DUSK is a growing, entrepreneurial business looking for people who are true team players with a hand on attitude.
You must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA), and be able to start within a month's notice.
Experience of interim assignments is beneficial but not essential.
