ACCA Trainee Accountant Apprentice

Duties include:

• Bookkeeping in Xero & FreeAgent
• Trial balance reconciliations
• Monthly management accounts
• Financial statements for limited companies
• Personal tax returns for individuals, landlords and sole traders
• Capital gains tax
• VAT returns
• Liaison with clients communication with HMRC

Qualifications required:

• Educated to Degree level

OR

• Candidates with good relevant A Levels will be considered i.e. Accounting, Maths, Business, Economics etc

Skills required:

• Bookkeeping desirable
• Xero & FreeAgent software experience desirable
• Intermediate Excel Skills
• Knowledge of VAT rules
• Personal and Corporate tax
• Knowledge of trial balance reconciliations desirable

Qualities required:

• Ambitious ACCA studier interested in becoming a chartered accountant
• Must have a strong eye for detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks
