Tony Alan Recruitment currently has a new and exciting job opportunity for an Assistant Accountant to join an established SME business in the Worthing area on a permanent basis.

Key duties:
- Supplier Reconciliations
- Check Monthly Invoices and Distribute to customers
- Submit Direct Debt Listings
- Revenue Report
- Payroll
- Prepayments and Accruals
- Monthly Journals
- Bank and Credit card Reconciliations
- End of Month Reports
- Credit Control
- VAT returns
- Petty Cash
- Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Dealing with customer Billing queries
- Supplier payments
- Updating Cashflow
- Previous hands on accountancy and finance experience, ideally within a SME business
- Accountancy qualification or working towards a qualification desirable but not essential (AAT, CIMA, ACCA)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills to include Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively to colleagues, customers, and stakeholders
