My prestigious client is looking for an ambitious, resourceful and motivated Assistant Management Accountant / Management Accountant to join its finance team. Working closely with the Financial Controller and the rest of the finance team, you will support the smooth day to day running of the finance department.
Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing sales ledger and purchase ledger processing
  • Assisting with the preparation and production of management accounts
  • Managing customer, product and event profitability
  • Stock control and stock reconciliation
  • Monitoring inter-company pricing
  • Completing VAT returns
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Working with the Financial Controller to improve processes and procedures
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with system enhancements
  • Helping with payroll (when required)
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • AAT qualified, Part AAT / CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Sage 50 and / or Sage 200 skills
  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel
  • Good time management skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to prioritise
  • Positive attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to meet deadlines
