Key responsibilities:
- Performance & Analytics team is responsible for providing performance & attribution services for the clients in EMEA/NA Region.
- The role involves preparing Fixed Income attribution reports on a recurring and ad- hoc basis.
- To analyze portfolios risk positions and attribute the performance into key risk factors (carry, spread, convexity, currency, residual etc.) at security / portfolio level.
- To deal with ad-hoc queries, investigate and resolve Fixed income performance and attribution related issues.
- Assist with reviewing current practice to ensure appropriate controls and procedures are in place within the team and supporting documentation is up to date.
- Coordinate with JV team on performance related issues.
- Attend onshore calls on a weekly basis.
Supportive responsibilities:
- Must be able to independently “troubleshoot” functional and quantitative issues to ensure high quality report production.
- Collaborate with multiple departments across the firm to achieve firm wide goal of performance return centralization.
- Must be prepared to work flexible hours for production and other issues that require immediate escalation and/or resolution.
- Ability to remain calm during stressful periods like month beginning and work well under pressure.
Requirements:
Education and experience:
- Bachelors/Master’s in Accounting/Finance.
- 3 to 4 years’ experience in Fund performance measurement/Attribution.
- Pursuing CFA/FRM/CIPM would be an added advantage.
Skills/knowledge:
- Basic knowledge about different Asset classes (Equity, FI, MA)
- Detailed understanding of FI Attribution
- Strong MS Office skills – Excel, PowerPoint etc
- VBA/SQL knowledge would be an added advantage.
- Ability to meet close deadlines and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
