Make an impact on our Quality Management team as a Manager, Quality Management Systems. Responsibilities

  • Play an integral role in the design, implementation, maintenance and review of MNP’s quality management systems under the new Canadian Standards for Quality Management (CSQM1 and CSQM 2 and CAS 220)
  • Work with a variety of teams to lead the identification and assessment of key risks and design, implement and test controls across the Firm
  • Assist with the documentation and development of process narratives and detailed control descriptions
  • Provide expert advice on internal process and control issues, evaluate risks and suggest practical solutions to mitigate risks
  • Liaise with our Quality, Risk, and Compliance teams and a variety of stakeholders to ensure our assurance teams operate with the highest quality and effectiveness
  • Regularly measure and communicate progress, risks and required changes to the VP Quality Management
  • Deliver industry and technical expertise in risks, controls and compliance through reports, technical work, presentations and high-quality deliverables
  • Promote and explain the importance of quality management to partners, managers and team members across the Firm and contribute to establishing and maintaining policies, guidelines, procedures and tools
  • Lead the training of teams across the Firm in the concepts, tools and templates as they relate to the systems of quality management
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to quality management, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes

Skills and Experience

  • CPA or CIA or other relevant professional designation
  • 5 to 7 years of internal audit or internal control experience or working with quality management and control principles
  • Experience in a technical role working with a quality management system or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and activities through strong project management
  • Experience facilitating discussions with, and presenting to, senior leadership
  • Proficient use of MS Visio and MS Project is an asset
  • Critical thinker with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues and scenarios
