Systems Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Systems Accountant with extensive systems experience to join a thriving business in Liverpool city centre. This is initially a 3 month interim placement however it's a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door with a well respected and exciting business with a strong reputation and brand presence.

Description

The key responsibilities of the successful Systems Accountant will be:

To manage the setup and maintenance of all Finance functions in the various systems, ensuring the ledgers are correctly integrated.

• Ensure the interfaces are cleared each day, dealing with errors efficiently and accurately
• Add new products to each system (JDE/AS400/flexecash) and maintain these products, as and when required
• Have responsibility for creating and updating of auto entries, as and when necessary, where new products are added or product criteria change (e.g. cost rates)
• Manage the integrity of data within the Finance system (JDE)
• Manage the integrity of interfaces between each of the finance systems (flexecash/AS400/JDE)
• Accurately update the flexecash system (internal) with fees and expiry dates as required
• Provide adhoc support to the 2020 Vision Finance Project Team
• Work with the Commercial Finance team to develop and implement new products and services
