Internal Payroll Specialist

Business Analyst - Payroll Specialist

At AB InBev, a challenge is more than a word, it's a way of thinking. After all, we are the largest brewery in the world, with legendary brands like Stella Artois, Leffe and Jupiler.
We are a team of curious individuals who see every challenge as a new opportunity to achieve something incredible. We are resourceful, we work even better under pressure, and we are proud of our successes. Because we are personally involved, we feel responsible for the results.
We have big dreams, love new challenges and pushing the limits of what is possible.
As a Business Analyst and Payroll Specialist for blue collars/white collars & executives, in addition to being responsible for the day-to-day payroll activities, you will also have a key responsibility as a Business Analyst in our payroll transformation project.
You will have the opportunity to develop as an Analyst, responsible for managing and analyzing payroll activities and making improvements, standardizations and simplifications to provide the best payroll user experience for the above mentioned target group of employees.
You will take initiative from day one, express yourself and your career will develop faster than you thought possible.

Duties:
Assist in the set-up and implementation of our in-house payroll in SAP
- 'Because we've always done it this way', you think is a bad excuse. You learn about our current processes and use this accumulated knowledge to develop new processes or optimize the current ones.
- Your payroll analyses, based on facts & figures, are the basis for your never-ending stream of ideas for optimization.
- When a problem has multiple solutions, your impact and risk analysis will help us make a well-founded decision.
- Changes in social legislation, in the sector and new collective agreements are part of your field of interest and you follow them closely. You know how to translate these into adjustments to our processes and systems so that they are compliant.
- You excel in communicating and connecting with different stakeholders (people business partners, time managers, master data teams, managers, employees).
- You are like a spider in the web between stakeholders and our internal team of developpers. You are able to translate functional changes towards the developers.
- You ensure a good preparation and smooth running of the UAT and are the listening ear for our testers. At the end of each sprint you make sure our documentation is up to date.
- You love that you can perform the above tasks in an agile scrum environment
Assist in the processing of an accurate payroll
- Paying wages and premiums correctly and on time, that is the mission of you and your colleagues.
- You understand that correct master data is the cornerstone of an accurate payroll and therefore you also perform random checks on the personnel data.
- In case of ambiguities or errors you do not hesitate to contact the right stakeholder (time managers, manager, depots or People business partners, external providers, ...).

Profile:
- Mathematically/analytically strong
- Aptitude and interest in working with and improving payroll systems (preferably SAP)
- Strong time management / accuracy
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills at different levels: external partners, workers & stakeholders
- Taking full responsibility over your scope
- Understanding of agile way of working is an advantage
- Fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an advantage
- Good knowledge of social legislation

What you can expect from us:
In this role, you have the potential to transform our company and your career. You will have the support and mentor you need to succeed. We are a meritocracy with plenty of room for growth and development, so you know your hard work will be rewarded. We encourage you to think big and pursue your goals. You'll have the opportunity to be creative, collaborate with international teams so you can build a global network, and have direct control over your career and where it takes you.
