Description

The Assistant Project Accountant is initially a temporary assignment and will be office based in Oldham. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will have the opportunity to look after:

Documenting current Accounting processes and calculation Method

Weekly sales and margin adjustments for each customer

• Supplier Funding
• Customer rebates
• KPI Bonus penalty trackers
• Price changes cost and Sell
• Case rate monitoring
• Identify opportunities to simplify / improve existing processes
• Undercharges
• Overcharges
• Journals
• Balance sheet Recs

Profile

In order to apply for the role you should:

• Have experience in documenting accounting processes and process improvement
• Have experience of balance sheet reconciliation/ journal posting
• Be confident on Excel to v look up and pivot table level
• Be able to commute to Oldham Office
• Be able to consider a temporary opportunity initially
