Due to continued growth, an Assistant Accountant is required to join this market leading business.
As the Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the Senior Accountant and wider finance team.
This is a varied opportunity offering a wide ranging opportunity
Key responsibilities include;
- Assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts
- Supporting with the annual budget setting process
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensuring all financial controls are in place
- Daily banking activities
- Reconciling petty cash
- Financial analysis and reporting
- Supporting with the statutory accounts
- VAT reporting
Profile
- A previous track record in the motor trade industry is highly desirable but not essential
- A proven track record of communicating with key operational stakeholders
- Strong analysis skills, including Excel
- The ability to work in a team environment
