Our client is a fast growing company active in the assistance service sector.
As Financial Controller you will be responsible for:
- Support the following financial reporting and planning activities:
- Monthly closing deliverables and key drivers analysis vs targets;
- Support the yearly strategic plan and budget and the quarterly forecasts;
- Support customer and product profitability planning, analysis and reporting;
- Support Sales and Marketing departments in Customer Pricing and Profitability analysis;
- Supervise the purchasing process and its compliance with the budget targets;
- Ensure accurate cash flow reporting and forecasting;
- Build an in-depth understanding of key drivers, pricing and cost structures, allowing senior management to get a clear view on financial results, risks and opportunities and financial trade-off options.
- Drive forecasting accuracy and key risk analysis on a quarterly basis;
- Improve processes and tools for the above-mentioned activities in order to drive end-to-end efficiencies;
- Maintain a strong financial control environment, ensure timely and accurate revenue and cost recognition and analysis, deliver timely and accurate forecasts and budgets;
- Support the annual business planning process:
- Coordinate the process to define the business priorities, and work closely with all functions to align them to the related financials;
- Coordinate regular review of progress against priorities;
- Perform maintenance and development tasks in our group reporting tool, such as creation of new customers, products, hierarchy updates and new reporting.
The required profile for the Financial Controller position:
- University degree in economics or finance;
- Fluent English;
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis (minimum 3 years of experience in planning, controlling, audit, finance or related functional areas);
- Very strong analytical skills;
- Superior business acumen, technical knowledge on multiple business units. Strong understanding of ICT is a plus;
- Solid track record in building relationships;
- Proven skills in process improvements and problem solving;
- Advanced Excel skills are key, knowledge of Power Query is a plus.
