Key job responsibilities
• Design scalable solutions that automate recurring work.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure that is scalable, simplified and have aligned definitions for different parts of the business.
• Develop/automate tools and processes to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Identify opportunities to resolve defects proactively. Improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.
• Analyze weekly and monthly trends to develop relevant reports that drive efficient operations and cost reductions.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance-based reporting for the business & senior management.
• Participate in hiring, developing, and mentoring peers and team members.
• Contribute to work life harmony by being a positive, collaborative, and effective influencer to new team members as an indicator of operations excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree from a Finance/Business/Economics/Analytical field or equivalent discipline
• Relevant work experience in finance
• Ability to innovate and simplify processes using ambiguous or incomplete data
• Intermediate level of Microsoft Excel
• Effective writing and verbal skills to communicate your ideas
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, etc.)
