About the Role:
Robert Walters is looking for a Financial Accountant who is seeking to consolidate and further their skills acquired in their career. The core responsibilities of this role will include working with both internal and external stakeholders, with a key emphasis in delivering support to the business, as well as a focus on driving change and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets across all ANZ divisions
• Prepare and compile annual payroll tax and Workcover returns
• Involvement in both external and internal audits
• Reconcile and prepare monthly GST/BAS statements across all ANZ divisions
• Prepare Australian tax workings and tax returns and Country by Country reporting
• Managing and processing all fixed asset processes for ANZ
Skills and experience:
• Excellent reporting and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and attention to detail skills.
• CPA or CA Qualified
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of D365
• FBT, GST and Tax knowledge (Desired)
