Management Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Management Accountant to join an already established and still expanding Hospitality company, who own a restaurant franchise. This role will report into the Financial Controller and as the Management Accountant your role will involve producing and maintaining full ownership of the monthly management accounts alongside managing an accounts payable member of the finance team.

Client Details

My client is a popular hospitality company, who have a constantly expanding chain of restaurants across the UK. Currently they have 38 sites and are looking to expand exponentially, which therefore requires an expanded finance team.

Description

As the Management Accountant your responsibilities will include:

• Full ownership of the monthly management accountants, including accurately meeting all deadlines
• Full ownership of the month end balance sheet reconciliations
• Performing analysis for key variances on the management accounts and forecasting for the opening of new sites
• Weekly reviews of day book postings ensuring accuracy
• Posting of all payroll journals and reconciliations
• Reviewing weekly and month end payment runs
• Management of all utilities expenses and accruals ensuring billing is up to date
• Supporting and Management the accounts payable person
• Providing any ad hoc support to rest of finance team and FC

Profile

The successful Management Accountant for this role will have:

• 3+ years experience in a multi-site company (Hospitality/retail)
• Demonstrate previous experience of having full ownership of the management accounts
• Actively studying, part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
• Strong excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using Exchequer (desirable)

Job Offer

• £40,000 salary (flexible upon experience)
