Who we are looking for

An excellent opportunity has arisen at Senior Associate level within the Custody Tax team, Edinburgh.

The successful candidate will work as part of the European Court of Justice (ECJ) team and part of the global Custody Tax team.

The responsibilities include researching the information required to provide a reconciliation of income listed in the State Street custody system and obtaining required documentation to support client ECJ claims via their appointed tax agents.

What you will be responsible for

As Senior Associate you will

• Perform unique and complex tax servicing duties in a deadline and regulatory driven environment
• Ensure workflow responsible for is completed within the deadline assigned
• Provide coaching and support to team members
• Take responsibility for the workload management of others in the team
• Identify and implement process enhancements and risk management activities
• Take active steps to build/maintain internal and external client relationships
• Support in ensuring all SOPS/training Guides are regularly reviewed

• Previous experience in a Tax role /environment preferred but not essential

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Degree level education preferred
• An understanding of the financial services industry
